Hip-Hop

Hip hop dance is a style of a street dance form that evolved from hip hop culture and hip hop music. It borrows elements from several different styles like African dance, tap, and ballet.

Hip hop dance started as a freestyle dance executed on the streets through dance crews, usually to hip hop music.

Some traditional hip-hop dance actions consist of the running man, the Humpty Dance, and the cabbage patch, and techniques regularly contain frame isolations and different spectacular movements, like popping, locking, krumping, breakdance, and freestyle.

Hip-hop dance is a recognizable style with several distinctive features:

High Energy: Hip-hop music features heavy beats for fast movements that require a lot of stamina and endurance.- Complex Footwork: Hip-hop dance emphasizes footwork and performs special movements that often look easy. Choreographers often push the boundaries of their routines and find new and innovative ways to create images with their bodies.

– Versatility: Hip-hop dance can be done in one venue with friends or alone in the studio. This includes a variety of movements suitable for all ages and levels of experience.

– Attitude: Hip-hop dance reflects the attitude of the music being danced and is often full of self-confidence, boldness, and irreverence.
